Slices of Life
Summer vacation continues to be wonderful, minus the rising heat and bug bites. ^^ I just went to a free Shakespeare in the Park in LA last night and saw The Tempest. It was very impressive! I haven't done any sewing lately, but I have been reading a lot. The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor is brilliant! As a fan of Alice in Wonderland, I was worried I would not like the book, but I suppose it's similar to how Wizard of Oz fans either love Wicked or hate it. I, for one, can't wait to start the second book!

In all honesty I am sorta dreading tomorrow--my best friend is dragging me to the DMV to take my written test and get a permit. I know it's dumb, but there is something in me that runs and hides from the whole driving thing. Hopefully I pass and then I can get my license soon... uh, cross your fingers for me? :anxious:

New Poll: Are you a fan of Asian dramas?
I ask this because I am a fan and just finished another great Japanese drama called Atashinchi No Danshi ("The Guys of My House"). I really reccommend it to everyone. You can find it with English subtitles if you need them. I'm always looking for new shows to watch, so if you've got some favs, let me know! My favs, in no order--some japanese, some korean-- include:

Deviants to admire: No one has been suggested, but I just HAVE to feature :jeftoon01: for his Twisted Princess series! I ran across his gallery while looking up pictures of the Little Mermaid and I'm glad I did! He takes a new, unique, dark view/portrayal of everyone's beloved Disney Princesses and any Disney fan would be crazy not to love his creativity!
